Ingredients

Ingredients Original
Raised Donut Mix 1000 g(6 cups)
Instant Dry Yeast 20 g(3 tablespoons)
Water (Approx.) 400 g (1½/a cups)

Preparation  Instructions:

  • Spiral Mixer : Knead all ingredients for 1 minute at low speed, then 6 – 8 minutes at high speed until dough is smooth and elastic.
  • Dough Temperature : 28 – 30 °C.
  • Dough Initial Resting : 20 minutes,
  • Sheet Dough to 1 cm thickness.
  • Cut with a suitable donut cutter.
  • Arrange on a flour dusted tray or on a frying screen.
  • Final Proofing : 25 – 40 minutes.

Baking Method:

  • Fry in hot oil (175 -180 °C) for 1 minute each side.
    Drain and cool on screen.
    Coat donuts with sugar powder, chocolate icing,
    sugar glaze, or sprinkles as desired
