Raised Donut Mix | 1000 g(6 cups) |
Instant Dry Yeast | 20 g(3 tablespoons) |
Water | (Approx.) 400 g (1½/a cups) |
Preparation Instructions:
- Spiral Mixer : Knead all ingredients for 1 minute at low speed, then 6 – 8 minutes at high speed until dough is smooth and elastic.
- Dough Temperature : 28 – 30 °C.
- Dough Initial Resting : 20 minutes,
- Sheet Dough to 1 cm thickness.
- Cut with a suitable donut cutter.
- Arrange on a flour dusted tray or on a frying screen.
- Final Proofing : 25 – 40 minutes.
Baking Method:
- Fry in hot oil (175 -180 °C) for 1 minute each side.
Drain and cool on screen.
Coat donuts with sugar powder, chocolate icing,
sugar glaze, or sprinkles as desired
